SkyRanger - ultralight aircraft with French origins |
|
SkyRanger ultralight airplane was designed in 1991 by Philippe Prevot and was initially manufactured in France. In 1998 the production was moved to Ukraine, where it is till now being manufactured on French license by Aeros and offered in self assembly kits. SkyRanger is a single-engine, twin-seated, high-wing, truss-braced aircraft with a nose landing gear. Remarkable ease of steering combined with great stability and difficult terrain resistance makes this plane perfect for beginner pilots, and its competition achievements (it is the only ultralight aircraft ever to win the gold medal on World Championships five times: 1996, 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007!) prove its very good aerodynamical properties that will satisfy even the most demanding pilots.
Accessories GRS Galaxy Rocket System can be installed in the SkyRanger. If you want to fly in winter, skis can be mounted on the wheels in the blink of an eye.
